A NORTH-EAST man was branded a "neighbour from hell" was remanded in custody yesterday.
Trevor Bunce appeared before Judge Les Spittle.
Bunce, of Eden Terrace, Chilton, County Durham, was secretly filmed by police setting fire to the door of his next-door neighbours' home while they slept.
He was also accused of kicking another neighbour in the face, breaking his jaw in two places, and fracturing his cheekbones.
Bunce was found not guilty of arson intending to endanger life but was found guilty of reckless arson and putting a person in fear of violence.
He was cleared of inflicting grievous bodily harm between September last year and March 18.
Bunce was remanded in custody for reports.
