Norton and Stockton Ancients: Norton Under-12s started with a changed team, after losing their captain to a rival team.

Fred Woodhouse came from the back four to play in the vacant spot and did a great job. Also it gave a first starting opportunity to John Chapman, who did not let his teammates down. Norton played with the wind advantage in the first half, missing three early chances. It didn't look as if it was going to be Norton's day until, Jake Laverick made a thundering shot that the keeper could only parry, but gladly, Tom Bunn was there to tuck it away. Jarrow played some good football, but didn't look like scoring until they broke away just before half-time, making it 1-1 at half-time. Second half saw Norton playing against the wind, but still had the majority of the chances. Luke Johnson finally did what Norton deserved and finished the game with a great goal. Laverick saw the keeper off his line and almost chipped the keeper from the half way line, only for a fantastic save to deny him. Now Norton go through to the last eight.

Norton Under-15 A's were away to Hartlepool Crest. With difficult pitch conditions, Norton found themselves conceding a goal early on. They soon rectified this to equalize in the second half with a goal from Marty Woodhouse. Both teams came close to score on a few occasions but it wasn't to be. Final score 1-1.

The Under-13 B's ended their year with a good performance in difficult conditions, beating 21st Allstars 3-0. Norton took a while to settle and a couple of half chances fell to Allstars, however Ancients soon found their feet and Jamma began testing Allstars keeper from range. Driving runs from Azza and Michael Bell created chances for Ancients, and it was Jamma and Danny McAvoy who combined to set up the first goal, Cooky finidhing with a low left-foot strike. Norton had the wind in the second half. Macca never gave up on a deep corner and retrieved the ball to set up Ivo for a superb chipped finish. Steve Atkinson made some great runs from deep, forcing saves out of Allstars keeper twice, and it was his brave challenge on the halfway line that sent Azza clear, the left back made no mistake with a sweet near post strike to finish off Allstars. Thanks go to Allstars' management for rearranging the kick-off time to accommodate the boys' Christmas party! Cheers!

Norton Under-10 A's dominated their match against Stockton Town FC from start to finish with great attacking and defensive football. Nathan Mohun continued his great form at scoring and popped an early one in for Norton. Matthew Simcox was once again strong in midfield, stopping all Stockton's attacks and fed some lovely balls out to the wing for Matthew Garbutt and Matthew Johnson, who both took on the Stockton defence superbly to score two good goals.

Goal of the game was when Matthew Johnson fed a crossfield ball to Max Craggs who slipped the ball beautifully through two defenders for Matthew Garbutt to slip the ball to Nathan Mohun to tap home. Thomas Johnson had little to do in goal but was confident in what he had to deal with. Final score was Stockton 0, Norton 4.
