A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted robbery following a raid on a post office.
Paul Leonard, 19, of Brentford Close, Brotton, east Cleveland, is also charged with possession of a firearm.
Both charges relate to an incident on January 8 at Old Brotton post office, in Brotton High Street.
At Teesside Crown Court, Judge Peter Fox remanded Leonard in custody to reappear on March 12 for a plea and directions hearing.
