A CARPET firm is expanding on Teesside.
Storey Carpets has invested more than £25,000 in its Skippers Lane, Middlesbrough, branch, tripling the size of its showroom devoted to selling laminate flooring.
The department now accounts for one quarter of the 1,000sq ft of the store's floor space.
Simon Heptinstall, chief executive of Storey Carpets, said: "The trend with our customers has led to an ongoing increase in laminate sales, and as a result, we have endeavoured to meet the requirements of our customers through providing them with a wider selection of the flooring most in demand."
