A COMMUNITY hall will host Europe's only baroque and tango orchestra next month.
The Oxford Concert Party will give a concert at Witham Hall, Barnard Castle, on Friday, February 6, at 8pm.
The orchestra performs in a range of musical styles, including Vivaldi, French cafe music, the Argentine tango, Irish laments and Finnish polkas.
The orchestra's colourful and expressive sound and zany, offbeat humour offers a unique blend.
Tickets cost £5, £3 for concessions, or £15 for a family ticket. To book call at the Witham Hall office between 10am and noon on weekdays, or telephone (01833) 631107.
