PEOPLE have jumped at the chance to quiz the Prime Minister's former Press secretary.
Alistair Campbell will be at the Customs House in South Shields, South Tyneside, on Friday, January 30, at 7.30pm.
It will be his first public engagement since leaving Whitehall and all the tickets were snapped up within days.
"It didn't take much selling and only took a few days to completely sell out," said Customs House director Ray Spencer.
"We have got Alistair Campbell the same week as the Hutton report comes out and the Commons vote on university tuition fees, so it is bound to be interesting stuff."
