A report on his year was given by the seniors captain Alec Crowe, who highlighted the seniors outing to Durham City gold club in September and was attended by the late John Ward's son David, who presented a trophy in his memory as secretary and treasurer of the section for many years. Alec thanked the members for their support over the year.
The election of officers then took place: seniors captain Alf Cooper; vice-captain Gareth Jones; general secretary/treasurer Bill Coom; team and social secretary Alec Crow.
