COUNCIL officers have made it their goal to help people have warmer homes and lower fuel bills.
Staff at Stockton Borough Council want to give people the opportunity to afford home insulation.
For three years, the council has worked with organisations such as Warm Zone, Transco, British Gas and Eaga, and has provided thousands of grants for home insulation to residents in receipt of benefits.
The council is now offering all householders the opportunity to have cavity wall and loft insulation at a reduced price.
