The Northern Echo's film website is giving film enthusiasts a chance to pick the Oscar winners.
Movie fans who think they can predict the winners are invited to log on to the website and cast a vote.
In addition, the site is running a competition giving entrants the chance to win the classic 1960s novel, The Moviegoer, by Walker Percy.
The website has teamed up with publisher Methuen to give six winners a copy of the novel, which is set to be republished at the end of the month.
