An inquest was due to be held today into the death of a teenager from the same school as a pupil who killed himself after a lifetime of bullying.
Gemma Dimmick, 15, was found dead at her terraced home in George Street, Ashington, Northumberland in June last year.
It was just two weeks after the suicide of fellow Hirst High School pupil Karl Peart, of Lynemouth.
Counsellors were called in to help pupils come to terms with the school's double tragedy.
An inquest last week heard how Karl had been bullied every year since he was four-and-a-half.
He took an overdose of painkillers and left a note to his mother apologising for not being a better son.
The hearing into Gemma's death was taking place at Wansbeck General Hospital, Ashington.
