PUPILS are helping story time come to life.
Children in years nine and ten at Stokesley School have designed "story bags" which will contain a book and props and activities relating to it.
They will exhibit their work at a business exhibition and conference Venturefest York, on Thursday.
The first story bags will be supplied to Hutton Rudby Primary School.
The bags are designed to not only tell a story, but to provide extra stimulus and activities such as finger puppets, models and games aimed at teaching new skills.
Andrea Fazakerley, head of food and textile technology at Stokesley School, said: "The pupils are involved at every stage of the project and have been taking it very seriously indeed.
"It is being run just like a proper business and we already have expansion plans.
"By exhibiting at Venturefest York the students are gaining new experiences of the world of business and will improve their communication and presentation skills."
