A PRIMARY school and its local community are celebrating the completion of new facilities thanks to a Government-funded initiative.
Dormanstown Primary School, in Dormanstown, has benefited from a new library, crche and multi-sensory area, art room, hall, and an outside play area through a successful bid for money from the Space for Sports and Arts initiative. The funding has also paid for a new administration centre and head teacher's office, as well as a new entrance and reception.
The facilities are being used by the school and the local community for clubs such as dance and percussion. The project will also see existing rooms refurbished, the restocking of the library and addition of further computers.
