POLICE are hunting two men in connection with the theft of jewellery worth £10,000 from a shop in Harrogate over the weekend.
The pair went into an antique jewellery dealer's premises at about 3.25pm on Saturday.
While staff were distracted by other customers, they opened a display cabinet and grabbed a red, oval-shaped velvet display board with more than 20 rose gold rings attached to it.
The men then fled the premises without speaking to staff.
The first man is described as aged between 45 and 55 with short, grey receding hair. He wore glasses and a green three-quarter-length jacket, a dark top, trousers and shoes.
The other is slim, aged between 30 and 40 with dark hair. Slightly scruffy in appearance, he was wearing a red waterproof, three-quarter-length coat with blue lining or trim and a dark and trousers.
