MOTIVATIONAL speaker Steve Cunningham is urging customers of mobile phone group Orange to try something new.
The 41-year-old father-of-two holds land speed records and excels at sport, but that is not the reason why Orange have enlisted his help for their "Try" campaign. Despite being blind since the age of 12, Mr Cunningham does not allow anything to stand in his way.
He was visiting Orange's operations in Darlington and on Tyneside to encourage staff to have a go at things they may want to do, but hesitate about trying. People often don't realise what their capabilities are, or how far they can stretch themselves, he said.
"They fear going past their comfort zone and finding the limit of their own inner strength."
