Evenwood Road Runners were at the Century Morpeth to Newcastle half-marathon.

Neil Douthwaite took the club honours in 1:33.40 for 217th. In 294th Kimberly Crowther was pleased with 1:37.04 while Ron Pounder came in for 368th in 1:39.46 and Darren Million 524th for 1:45.16. Donna Douthwaite got herself a personal best of 1:49.34 and three minutes 39secs in 634th with Kenny Sams finishing well in 1:51.26 for 670th from a large field of 1,020 runners.

Down the road at York for the Brass Money half-marathon John Johnston zoomed around the flat course for 1:23.45, a new personal best plus 7.45 for 64th. Neil Douthwaite also earned himself a new personal best of 1:28.10 plus 5.20 in 119th. Tony Hindmarch 1:33.58 for 212th along with 217th in 1:34.14 Andrew Laybourn and Kimberly Crowther 218th in 1:34.19. Steven Coatsworth 1:40.05 331st. Darren Million picked up a personal best of 1:40.31 plus 4.45 for 343rd as did Donna Douthwaite rewrote her Morpeth time 1:44.47 plus 4.37 for a halfway finish at 425th. Glynn Frith was 536th also earning a personal best of 1:49.57. Kenny Sams and Alan Morton crossed the line in 632nd 1:55.30 and 634th 1:55.34. Alan Thompson was pleased with 2:16.27 as was 2:37.14 842nd Alan Dickinson and Dawn Ord 843rd 2:37.24 from a good field of 851 athletes.
