Richmond Under-12s travelled to Thirsk to play Falcons in the League Cup and Richmond started brightly, taking the lead when Thirsk's goalkeeper parried a Josh Slinger shot and Graeme Love was on hand to finish.

Richmond had plenty of opportunities but the Thirsk keeper was having a good game and the Richmond players were missing chances.

However shortly before half time Thirsk equalised when the Thirsk forward raced past the RT defence and finished past Luke Newton. The second half was equal and the game finished 1-1. Extra time was played and no further goals were scored so it went to penalties. Thirsk opted to shoot first and missed their first two whie Tom Hodgson and Josh Slinger put Richmond two-up.

The third Thirsk penalty was missed and Thirsk thought they had lost, but they still could draw. The game went to the final kick when Sion Dennis and Ryan Howe failed to score. The game was won when Tom Osborn confidently shot the ball into the bottom corner past the Thirsk Keeper. Man of the match was Luke Newton who made some great saves including a penalty during normal time.

Richmond Town Under-11s played Northallerton at home in a further round of the George Fawcett Cup. From the start Richmond took the game straight to the away team scoring through Ethan Stamp with a shot from the edge of the box. Richmond again scored when Luke McComb crossed the ball and Ethan Stamp followed in on the goalkeeper.

David Young scored Richmond's third, only for a penalty to be awarded and scored by Northallerton. Half time score 3-1. The second half saw Northallerton gain more possession with the wind at their backs and they scored a second goal. Richmond replied with a pass to William Gardner to make a run across the box and squared the ball for David Young to score Richmond's 4th goal. In the final few minutes Northallerton scored their third goal but Richmond held on to advance further in the competition. A good end to end game in blustery conditions.
