A football coaching workshop is being held at half-term.
Les Shaw, director of Coerver Coaching, is running advanced training sessions for under-eights to under-13s at the Riverside Stadium in Chester-le-Street.
The course, from Monday, February 16, to Friday, February 20, will provide professional coaching and those who show potential may be invited for trials at Hartlepool United.
A course run by Mr Shaw in October at the Riverside, resulted in seven young footballers being picked for trials with the club. One youngster, Chris Jennings, 11, was offered a contract with Hartlepool's Centre of Excellence, after the first week of his trial.
Coerver Coaching has opened development centres in association with Hartlepool United for eight, nine and ten-year-olds.
The two centres, in Sunderland and Hartlepool, run eight-week courses for under-eights and under-tens to develop their footballing skills to the level where they may be able to join Hartlepool's Centre of Excellence.
