Allstars pressed forward again and a strong shot from outside the box was well saved by the Norton keeper. Matthew Garbutt on the right wing and Matthew Johnson on the left kept on troubling the Allstars defence with some great running and crossing some great balls into the box. Late in the second half, with Allstars attacking, Norton defender's Max Craggs and Nicky Thomas were strong and reliable as they were all game, making some great defensive tackles and they fed the ball to the Norton midfield picking out striker Nathan Mohun who kept the Allstars defence on their toes.

The game went into extra time and with both keepers pulling off some great saves, the match went to penalties, and after five penalties each resulting in two goals a piece, it was finally decided on sudden death. With Norton goalie, Thomas Johnson making a great save, it was left to Matthew Johnson who hit the ball into the bottom corner to send Norton into the semi-final. The whole Norton team played exceptional football, but it was the Norton keeper Thomas Johnson who made some great saves throughout the game, saved three penalties in the shoot-out and was deservedly named man of the match.
