UK freight forwarding and logistics company AJ Edge has opened a warehousing facility.
The shipping division of the company has launched Container Freight Station (UK).
The company will operate from a 73,000sq ft warehouse at the Viking Industrial Park, in Jarrow, South Tyneside.
The facility, which will offer a comprehensive logistics and supply chain management service, has created nine jobs, and is expected to create another eight in the next few weeks.
