A FERRYHILL woman has been promoted to Leading Aircraftwoman after graduating from RAF Halton.
Alison Ward, 23, from Morpeth Close, will be posted to RAF Leeming, North Yorkshire, after her graduation from Supply Training Squadron.
LAC Ward, who attended Ferryhill Comprehensive School, said: "I have enjoyed learning a new trade and also the initial recruit training, especially the passing out parade. This was the proudest moment of my life, with my family watching."
