West Auckland Queens Head are through to the final of the Auckland Charity Cup where they will meet Tindale Crescent. Queens Head faced Brandon Prince Bishop in the semi final and took the lead from a Matthew Moffatt penalty.

The Brandon keeper was sent off after conceding the spot kick but his side drew level near half time. Carl Jones regained the advantage for Queens Head and Paul Bailes first goal for the club made it 3-1. The home side pulled a second goal back but Queens Head fully deserved to go through.

Evenwood White Swan were under strength for the first leg of the Colin Waites trophy semi final with Crook White Swan and paid the penalty. Crook will take a 5-2 lead into the second leg after goals from Robert Punshion, Shaun Nicholson, Darren Deuchars. Stephen Robson and Christopher Parkinson. Neil Teesdale and Craig Thorne replied.

Byers Green go through to the semi final after a beating Stanhope Town 6-3 on aggregate. Goals either side of half time from William Dougdale and Anthony Binks put Byers Green 2-0 ahead in the second leg and Stanhope's only consolation came from Darren Fletcher three minutes from time.

Coundon and Leeholme Juniors moved up to joint second in the league after a good second half performance against Roddymoor. The visitors held their own during a goal less first half but second half goals from Anthony Dargue, Shaun Tarling and Anthony Tate gave Coundon a 3-0 win.

Howden Australian took the lead at Tow Law Station through an own goal. Andrew Morgan made it 2-0 before Lee Furber pulled one back for the Station. Tow Law hit both post and bar but Morgan found the net for the Australian to give them a 3-1 win.

Stanley United's four match league losing run came to an end at Wearhead where they were always in front and ended 4-3 victors.
