Norton Under-13s got off to a great start by scoring in the first minute against Newcastle and this was followed by a further four within ten minutes.
Norton dominated completely, playing their best football of the season so far. Newcastle were clearly shaken by this, allowing Norton to claim a further three goals before Newcastle pulled one back just before the break.
Immediately after the re-start Norton once again took the initiative scoring a further two goals taking their score into double figures. Newcastle fought bravely on and claimed two further goals late on. All ten girls from Norton played to their potential earning this result. Scorers were Wilson (3), Salicki (3), Armstong (2), Thomas and Rowland.
