The Under-10s were against Skerne Park and an excellent performance resulted in an excellent result for Aycliffe. A goal in each half for Morgan and outstanding goal keeping from Mundell give the lads a well deserved win 2-0. Man of the match was Ryan Mundell.

There was only one game played in the Teesside Junior Alliance and the Under-12s A, sponsored by Custom Design, traveled the short distance for a derby cup tie with Sports Club. Coxhoe Boys

Coxhoe Under-15s warmed up for their vital match against fellow promotion-chasing Town Castle Rovers by walloping Consett last weekend 8-0.

A good performance by most of the team, which saw new signing Stewart Doughty score twice, hit the goal trail in the friendly match as Bobby Orton's side prepared for the trip to Sunderland this week.

Other scorers against Consett were John Dodd and Michael Owens who both score twice while Nathan Ward and Daniel Jones also hit the back of the net while keeper Tom Ortin made several fine saves.

Ben Raine and Shane Gavin again put in solid performances at the back and they'll have to be on the guard again against Town Castle Rovers who sit second behind Coxhoe in Division Two of the Russell Foster Tyne and Wear Youth League.

Sunday's game kicks-off at 11am at the Downhill Compex, Sunderland.

A week today Coxhoe face Fishburn in a derby encounter at Spennymoor United's Brewery Field ground.

Stockton Town

Stockton Town Under-12s were away to Teesside Athletic and as it was Teesside's last game of the season their players looked like they wanted to enjoy it.

With both teams competing for everything it took a great strike from Stockton Karl Sharp to open the game up, but three minutes later an even better strike by Teesside levelled the game.

Five minutes before half time Stockton had a corner and Harley Gibb whipped in a glorious ball that swung straight in.

The second half was a different story as Stockton completely dominated and after two more goals from Karl, one from a very acute angle, Scott Hillerby and Adam Maplesden also got on the scoresheet but none of this could have been possible if not for man of the match Craig Deighton who owned the entire left flank with great tackle and breathtaking through-balls.

Marton

Playing against Kader, Marton Under-14s came out on top to earn a place in the final of the TJFA League Cup after beating an under-strength side who took to the field with ten men, their team depleted due to injured and cup-tied players.

From the kick off Marton pressurised the Kader defence and were rewarded with an early goal, Walker curled a free kick into the box where Henderson reacted the quickest to force the ball home.

Marton added to their score soon after when Johnston ran on to a long goal kick from Worton to fire past the keeper in style. Kader to their credit never gave up and played some excellent football but the extra man advantage was starting to tell as Marton created more goal scoring opportunities, Kell Carroll, and Tymon all went close and a brilliant save from the stand in Kader keeper denied Walker a headed goal. With half time approaching Marton struck again, Colligan and Rowney combined well to play Henderson in who smashed the ball past the advancing keeper. Kader came out for the second half determined to get back into the game forcing Parker into action with two smart saves.

The home side responded in the best possible way, a long through ball from Worton found Johnston who beat the offside trap to drill the ball home. Two further goals were added, Rowney went on a fantastic run leaving players in his wake to finish well and minutes from time Carroll found Spence who hit a great shot from the edge of the area into the top corner of the net to make the final score 6-0.

Willington

Willington and St Josephs were involved in an eight-goals thriller when they met in the Russell Foster Under-17 Premier League.

In a match of fluctuating fortunes, St Josephs grabbed a last-minute equaliser with a penalty. John Cunningham gave Willington an early lead but before the break the scores were level as Gareth Dinsdale netted for St Josephs.

In the second half, Adam Bolas put the visitors in front only for Cunningham to score his second goal and make the score 2-2.

Craig O'Brien netted to put Willington 3-2 up but a scrambled goal by Dinsdale brought the scores to 3-3.

Stephen Bentley struck to make it 4-3 for Willington and just when it appeared that they would take full points, they conceded a penalty which Anthony Goodings converted.

Man of the match for Willington was Daniel Lee.
