Apollo Doors Gateshead Youth League: Low Fell C continued their useful form in the U11 league. They were involved in a high scoring game with Winlaton. Goals from Andrew Dodds (2) and Johnny Ward (2) helped their 5-3 win.

Low Fell M retained top spot with a 4-2 victory at Ryton. Damian Anderson hit both of the Ryton goals with two coming from Connor Matheson for Low Fell.

Jack South notched a brace in South Moor's 3-2 victory at Redheugh.

There was a double from Bradley Foster when Felling won 6-0 at Blaydon.

Joe Wilson was a hat-trick merchant as Whickham Fellside Y beat luckless Consett B 9-0.

Redheugh dropped their first point in the U12 when they were held 1-1 at home against Cleveland Hall.

Second placed Low Fell had Ricky Fenwick netting four times in their 5-0 triumph over Felling.

Two goals from Andy Stubbs helped Beamish to three points against Prudhoe.

In the U13 league Blackfyne and Leam Rangers G shared four goals with Andrew Reynoldson netting twice for Blackfyne.

Three goals by Patrick Foster and two from Mark Smith leaders Washington Oxclose won comfortably 8-0 against Blaydon.

Second placed Chopwell were 9-1 winners against Redheugh. Lee Best (3), Josh Henley (3) and Carl Armstrong (2) were on target for the winners.

A brace from Jamie Huggin assisted U14 leaders Cleveland Hall to beat Consett 4-0.

Winlaton and Low Fell B were involved in a close game with the latter edging home 2-1.

In the U15 league leaders Redheugh maintained their 100 per cent record. Three goals came from Mark Williams in the 6-0 victory against Consett.

Leam Rangers travelled successfully to South Moor winning 3-1.

Willington Youth Under Tens

Willington Youth Under 10s sponsored by Pizza Time were trying to consolidate on their two tremendous performances of the previous week and trying to retain the joint top spot in the Russell Foster League Super Diner Cup when they were entertaining Red House and South Tyneside in gale force winds & Driving rain at seaburn on Saturday.

A great start against Sunderland's Red house with Luke Elms effort and an own goal, gave Willington a 2 -O victory, but although a spirited second half fight back could not overcome a 1-0 deficit against South Tyneside.

Stockton Town U 12s 3 Yarm Town Under 12s 0

A fantastic match was going to be played but a goal less first half with a lot of neaves, especially from the Stockton team resulted in no action in either teams box.

The second half was a different story as Stockton gained in conferdence and got the ball down and played one touch football. After ten minutes the ball came down the left and was crossed in where J J Tucker over head kick, lopped into Yarms goal. Then Man of the match Hal White dribbed his away into Yarms box but was forced out wide where he turned and scored a replica goal like Massimo Maccarone did last Saturday. After that it was left to J J Tucker to finish of Yarm by blasting a goal from 18 yrds out and win the game.

Teesside Junior Alliance

Billingham 0, Marton FC 7

Marton clinched their third league title in four seasons with an emphatic away win against Billingham. Marton went ahead mid way through the first half when Worton, Walker and Colligan combined well to find Johnston who drilled the ball past Cooper. The goal settled Marton and they began to get the ball down keep possession and play some terrific football, Cooper in the Billingham goal was in outstanding form making great saves to deny Johnston, Carroll, Hill and Rowney as Marton piled on the pressure.

The visitors finally added to their score when the impressive Spence smashed the ball into the top corner of the net from the edge of the box and just before the break Kell's cross shot took a deflection to deceive the keeper and end up in the net. The second half got under way with Marton well on top and further goals from Johnston, Rowney and the hard working Henderson put the visitors firmly in control.

Billingham to their credit never gave up and nearly pulled a goal back, a bullet header was some how tipped over the bar by Matty Tymon the stand in keeper. Marton went back on the attack and Jack Widdowson was unlucky not to score hitting the cross bar from a tight angle. Marton wrapped things up in the final minute as Johnston scored again to complete his hat trick.

Ferryhill Town Youth

Ferryhill Under 11s, sponsored by Peter Clark Estates, were at home to Belasis Juniors at the weekend. Ferryhill made a good start, taking the lead through Aaron Jones. Shortly before half-time Josh Willis made it 2-0. Going against the wind in the second-half Ferryhill played brilliantly, with further goals coming from Connor Richardson, Matthew Cowell and a second for man of the match Willis. A good team performance saw the final score 5-1.

The under 12s , sponsored by Javline, were away to Hardwick Youth. Ferryhill were slow to start and ended up 3-1 down at half time, Kris Royal scoring for Ferryhill. In the second half Hardwick increased their lead before Ferryhill scored twice with goals from Joe Ramage and Michael Toas. Hardwick used the windy conditions to their advantage and kept catching Ferryhill on the break. Hardwick played well, and deserved to win the game. Ferryhill's man of the match was Kevin Dunn. Final score: Hardwick Youth 8, Ferryhill Town Youth 3.

Ferryhill under 13s, sponsored by Spennymoor Sports, were away to Whitby. Ferryhill started off well, taking the lead early on but by half-time the match was level. Whitby took advantage of the wind in the second-half and ended up winners. Man of the match was Dan Moorhouse; Ferryhill's scorer was Shane Todd.

The under 14s, who are sponsored by County Durham Foundation, were away to Seaton Carew. Ferryhill started the game very slow and went behind 1-0. Simon Lowes, in goal for the second week in a row, pulled off some fantastic saves to keep Ferryhill in the game. Ferryhill played some good football once they got into the game and put some good passes together. A great through ball by Alec Wade to Andrew Gibbons saw the ball hit the back of the net. In the second half, Ferryhill started passing the ball around and Alec Wade scored an excellent goal. Ferryhill defended excellently to keep Seaton Carew out and Simon Lowes pulled off another great save to keep the score Seaton Carew 1, Ferryhill 2.

New County North Durham Youth League

Blaydon took over at the top of the U16 league when they beat Ryton 8-0. Carl Piecha (2), Liam Bell (2) and Lee Craggs were among the scorers. South Moor kept in touch with the leaders beating Consett 2-1. Jonathan Lee and Clark Coulson scored for the winners, with John Westgarth netting for Consett.

In the U17 league Cowgate enjoyed a 9-0 victory at Winlaton with goals from Chris Glendon (3), Chris Fee and Adam Blair (2). Andrew Whitfield scored for Consett, but singles from Michael Anderson, Anthony Falcon, Liam Dochery and Thomas Dempsey turned the game in Cleveland Hall's favour with them wining 4-1.

Riverside FC

Riverside Under 13s went down 6-0 to East Boldon in a game that was once again affected by the strong winds. Difficult though the conditions were East Boldon adapted better and Riverside just did not get any breaks. The highlight of the game was the tackling of John Ritchie which won him the Man of the Match Award.

Teesside Junior Alliance Under 10

Stockton Town Juniors overcame Cumby Rovers 1-0 with a very gritty and determined performance by Stockton Town Juniors against an older and more experienced Cumby Rovers. In the first half Stockton were kicking into a very strong wind and still managed to dominate the early passages of play with some neat one touch football between Hough, Duck and Waddup. The defensive trio of Woollaston, Moody and Everson always looked assured with Moody worthy of praise due to some exceptional tackling and never-say-die determination. A period of end to end football culminated with a blistering run from Hough who somehow managed to hit the ball into the roof of the net from an almost impossible angle.

In the second half Cumby came more and more into the game and were only denied by some great saves from goalkeeper Martin Craven who was also stand in Captain for the day. Craven was beaten only once however the woodwork saved the day for Stockton. The introduction of Dowson and Higgins provided further stability for Stockton and had further chances to increase their lead. Stockton were thouroughly deserving of the three points - Man of the Match for Stockton was shared between Hough and Craven.
