A RUNNER will be tackling Sunday's London Marathon in memory of his best friend, who died of cancer.
Glen MacMaster, 49, of Darlington, hopes to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
He was inspired to take part in the marathon after the death from throat cancer of friend Jeff Dale.
It is the first time Mr MacMaster has entered the 26-mile race.
