A HOSPICE received a cheque for £1,000 yesterday from the proceeds of a music night.
Musicians from across Teesside were brought together by Dave Griffiths and Mark Young in memory of Mark's father, Charlie, who died at The Butterwick Hospice, Stockton, last year.
Friends and family gathered at the event which was a celebration of Mr Young's life.
Fundraiser at the hospice Andrew Brown said: "Mark and Dave pulled together a great occasion, which I know was enjoyed by all.
"The David Lloyd Fitness Centre kindly supported us and the generosity of everyone involved will help us to continue providing our unique brand of care."
