YOUNG brass band players have received £700 from West Redcar's Single Regeneration Budget fund.
The money will enable the South Bank Brass Band Youth Group to buy music stands and band fleeces embroidered with their logo.
Ron Wilson, honorary secretary of the band, said: "The extra money will enable the youngsters to improve their quality of playing, whilst at the same time enabling them to stay warm at outside concerts. They will also be able to give a better visual presentation."
