WOMEN from across the region are being urged to take part in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, which takes place in Darlington's South Park on Sunday, June 20.
Thirty five members of staff from Tesco's Catterick store, which is sponsoring the event, will be running the race.
So far, almost 400 women have signed up to take part in the race but there are still several thousand places left.
All entrants get a race number, sponsorship form and a training programme to help them get fit.

In 2003, Darlington Race for Life raised £69,000.
