THE latest in BT technology has been put to the test by youngsters with visual impairments.
Students from Harrogate's Henshaws College were among the first to try out the telephone handsets.
BT Relate 3000 is designed for people who are hard of hearing or partially-sighted.
Henshaws students Nick Shaw and Grant Walker tried out its features including hands-free operation, caller display and VIP ringing tones, visual ringing indicator and optional voice prompts.
The BT Age and Disability Action team has been helping older and disabled customers to use telephone services since 1984.
