Plans for a 12m mobile phone mast are likely to be approved despite objections.
Sacriston Parish Council opposed Vodafone's plans at Sacriston Industrial Estate, Plawsworth Road, Sacriston, on health grounds.
But in a report to today's meeting of Chester-le-Street District Council planning committee, officers say the mast would not be incompatible with the surrounding area and recommending approval.
