A NEW version of a popular music event will be held at a different venue this year.
The World Heritage Site at Fountains Abbey, near Ripon, North Yorkshire, has hosted a classical music concert that closes with a fireworks display for a number of years.
There has been no confirmation of a date for this year's concert, although music fans have been told a similar event will be held on Saturday, June 19, at Swinton Park, near Masham with the emphasis on jazz. Tickets cost £16, with discounts for group bookings. For details, call (01423) 501269.
