Services on two sections of the Tyne and Wear Metro will be suspended on Sunday while engineering work is carried out.
There will be no services between Pelaw, in Gateshead, and Sunderland and South Hylton. This will also disrupt the Arriva Trains (Northern) and First Transpennine services between Newcastle and Sunderland.
Meanwhile, engineering work will disrupt early morning services between Benton and North Shields stations until about 10am. There will be replacement bus services.
