TENANTS of Coast and Country Housing have been assured that the company's move to £2.5m headquarters will not affect them.
Staff at the firm, which manages the housing register for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, will be moved into temporary accommodation in the company's car park at Dormanstown, near Redcar, later this month.
Demolition work on the current building is scheduled to begin next month.
A 25,000sq ft two-storey office block will be built, twice as big as the existing building, to accommodate 209 Coast and Country staff, including those based in Roseberry Square.
Iain Sim, chief executive, said: "Our existing headquarters dates from the mid-1970s and does not comply with modern office standards.
"Our new offices will be representative of this hugely important phase in our development as a young, forward-thinking company.
"But I'd like to emphasise that it's business as usual for our tenants and we are still concentrating wholeheartedly on our commitments to them during the work."
