Under-15s: Silksworth posted the highest score of the night when they made 133 for two at Bill Quay who replied with 67 for eight, writes Malcolm Pratt.

Scott Davison struck a couple of sixes and nine boundaries ending unbeaten on 79 and Craig Neil added 23 with one six. When the home side responded Drury finished with 26 not out but Neild and Davison both took a couple of wickets as the home side struggled to make an impact.

Murton's batsmen fared even worse in their home fixture with Houghton being dismissed for just 30. Miller claimed four for just three runs while Bainbridge, O'Neill and Johnson all took a couple of wickets. Shaun Hauxwell then carried his bat for 17 when Houghton replied with a match winning 31 for one.

Thirlwell made a top contribution of 22 to the Ryhope total of 65 for seven at Peterlee for whom Carl Oliver returned two for 21 and David Laidler two for 19. The target proved comfortable for Peterlee who won with half their wickets intact as Oliver scored 20 and Dean malt 26 not out. Despite capturing four for only 17 runs Nick Best ended on the losing side.

Kevin Powell led Blackhall to a total of 64 for seven when he contributed 21 in the game with Seaham Park for whom Dickenson and Riches both picked up a couple of wickets. Responding, Seaham were pegged to 56 for nine and Luke Cushlow captured three for 18 and Michael Bell three for four. Kevin Powell followed up his good performance with the bat by taking a catch and making three stumpings.

Boldon CA just had the edge on Hylton winning by six runs. Christopher Frater (36) enabled Boldon to total 69 even though Northway took four wickets for just four runs L Barnett, three for five and R Barnett two for 23 in the Hylton bowling line-up.

When they went into bat, Hylton were close to victory but finished with 63 for eight which included 26 by Coomber. Sam Wraith returned three for seven, Jane Riddell two for 16 and Andrew Brown two for six for Boldon.

Under-18s: Peterlee had four wickets to spare defeating Boldon CA who, batting first, made 68 for eight in the allotted over, writes Malcolm Pratt.

Laidler, Buckingham and Malt all took a couple of wickets for Peterlee who responded with 69 for six which included 21 by Griffiths. Kyle Bellerby was the most productive bowler in the Boldon attack claiming two for six.

Dan Pearson led Ryhope to victory in their home fixture with Seaham Park. Faced with a target of 86, Ryhope were indebted to Pearson who ended undefeated on 53. Tom Riches took two of the three wickets to fall for 13 runs.

When they batted first, Seaham had Riches in form and he contributed 82 to the total while for Ryhope Paul Howe had an analysis of four for 15 and john Errington two for nine.

Dawdon ended with 91 for two on the board which included 52 from Michael Appleby in their home game with Houghton who were 64 for nine when time was called. Keen top scored with 23 for Houghton and in the Dawdon attack Michael Appleton, Chris Edwards and Mark Raffie all picked up a couple of wickets.

Murton were all out for just 39 in their game with Bill Quay who won by 41 runs. Little carried his bat for 53 in the Bill Quay innings and when Murton replied, South took two for 13, Little three for seven and Basham three for seven.
