Silksworth had almost 100 runs in hand of Easington after posting the formidable total of 141 for two. Edward Wood led the way with 58 and Ryan Bainbridge carried his bat for 41 before Easington managed only 44 for four which included an unbeaten 27 by Kennett.

Ryan Bainbridge returned the excellent analysis of three wickets for two runs in the Silksworth attack.

Castle Eden's batsmen were also in good form leading their team to a match winning 128 for three at Seaham Park. Bailey and Grafferty both scored 29 and Kirtley ended unbeaten on 17. In reply, Seaham Park were restricted to 65 for eight which included 22 by Jones. The feature of the tie though was the bowling performance of Castle Eden's bailey who had a hat trick in figures of three for four. Thirlaway assisted in the attack taking two wickets for six runs.
