STAFF and students have been celebrating the achievements of adult learners with special needs - by tucking into a cake.
Brian Dodsworth, from Stokesley, helped the principal of Northallerton College, Jennifer Slater, cut the first slice.
The ceremony was part of an awards presentation held at the Methodist Hall, in Northallerton, which was attended by nearly 100 learners, carers and relatives.
Mrs Slater presented about 50 certificates to learners for achievements in a range of fields, including art and personal skills.
