Young tennis star Aiden Robson moved a step closer to realising his dream of playing at Wimbledon when he won a major tournament recently.
He tasted success in the Road to Wimbledon tournament held at Greenfield Tennis Club to take his place in the County Finals at Puma, Sunderland in July.
Aiden (pictured), 13, attends St Johns School in Bishop Auckland and his coach Ian Wilkinson said: "Aiden had to work hard to beat some good players. He brings energy and fun to every match. His increased strength allows Aiden to hit the ball much harder than other boys.
"Aiden has the ability to reach Wimbledon."
Results: Final: A Robson def J Hurst
Semi-finals: A Robson def M Evans and J Hurst def D Lerner.
