Darren Tinkler held on to the top place in the table with a comprehensive victory over Lee Scott. In the first frame Tinkler cleared six ball but then fouled, with Scott replying to clear with his two visits to the black, which he missed and Tinkler capitalised.
Scott took all his own balls but missed the black with Tinkler laying a snooker. Scott made a fortuitous escape but Tinkler cleared his last five and the black. In the third Scott looked to on for a complete clearance but he unluckily cannoned the black in.
Neil Campbell strengthened his league standing with a whitewash success over Simon Bowey. After Bowey went in-off the break in the first Campbell took command to go ahead. He followed that with a clearance form the break and completed a good victory by taking his last four balls and the black after a tactical start to the final frame.
Stuart Hall clinched his second victory in the league when he took advantage of an early foul by Aaron Cowan in the decider to clear the table.
