SPORTS coaches are being urged to sign up to a child protection course to be held in Northallerton next month.
The Good Practice and Child Protection course aims to enhance coaching practice by teaching more about child abuse and how to handle potential problems.
The three-hour course takes place at Hambleton District Council's headquarters, on August 4, from 6pm to 9pm.

* A new leaflet listing all community leisure courses run in conjunction with the district council will be available shortly. All courses are also listed on the website www.hambleton.gov.uk
