A YOUNG people's theatre group is appealing to carnival crowds to support its first production next month.
Willington Youth Theatre has been planning its show The Fourth Princess for more than a year. Tickets go on sale on Saturday at a family fun day organised to celebrate a new Doorstep Green, due to open in the town centre in October. The show, backed by regeration funding and other grants, is being staged in Sunnybrow Community Chapel on August 20 and 21. Tickets cost £2 and £1, with family tickets £5 and are available by calling 07952 406818.
The fun day runs from noon until 4pm when plans for the project will be on display.
