A FUNDRAISING night in Darlington has raised more than £1,000 for breast cancer research.
The event was organised by All Saints' and Salutation Church and held in the church's Millennium Centre, in Ravensdale Road.
A raffle and craft stalls contributed to the £1,030 total raised.
The church's ladies' group was formed last September and holds regular social gatherings, but this was its first fundraising event.
The money will be shared between the local branch of Breast Cancer Care and the Darlington and Teesdale Breast Cancer Support Group, at Darlington Memorial Hospital.
