A CONCERT to raise money for a sick child has raised £717.
Midlands band, Vida, performed at Glaxo Sports and Social Club, in Barnard Castle, for the Jake Jones Appeal. Jake, from Staindrop, has a rare skull condition.
The concert and a charity auction and raffle brought the appeal total to £6,607.
The final fundraising event will be a coffee morning at the Wheatsheaf pub, Staindrop, on August Bank Holiday Monday.
