SIX bowlers from the White Rose Centre, Catterick Garrison, will take part in a six-hour sponsored bowl to raise money for charity.
The event, on August 27, is being held to raise money for a children's playground for Sure Start at the garrison.
Lanes at the bowling centre are being provided free of charge by the Army Welfare Service.
Anyone wanting to sponsor the bowlers, or make a donation, can contact the centre on (01748) 835114.
