MEMBERS of the Knit and Natter Club, which meets at Crookhall Community Association, near Consett, have received a £500 windfall. The club was awarded the money from the North-Eastern Co-op's Community Dividend Scheme.
It will use the money to buy equipment and supplies.
Co-op representative Keith Anthony presented the cheque to Crookhall Community Association treasurer Sean Melody.
