A two-day music festival will be held at Kirkleatham Almshouses and Gisborough Hall next month.

Italian guitarist Giulio Tampalini opens the festival at 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 19.

The following evening will feature Finnish pianist Antii Siirala, who won the World Piano competition in 2002 and the Leeds International Piano Competition last year.

He will be performing at the Gisborough Hall Hotel, Guisborough, at 7.30pm.

The festival forms part of The Classics At Kirkleatham concert series, started by Peter Sotheran, chairman of the board of trustees, at the 17th Century almshouses in 1999.

Tickets to see Giulio Tampalini will cost £10. Tickets for Antii Siirala's performance will cost £17.50, which includes complimentary wine on arrival from 7pm.
