A VOLKSWAGEN dealership in Darlington is under new ownership.
Mill Garages, owned by European Motor Holdings, sold its dealership in Faverdale to the Lookers chain for £800,000.
The business will extend the group's Volkswagen territory in the region and will help to add £15m to Lookers' annual turnover.
Last month, Lookers also bought the former Massingberd showroom in Northallerton.
A spokesman for Lookers said the business would continue trading as normal and the staff would be retained.
