SILVER screen entertainment could come to homes and pubs in the North-East as a mobile cinema tours the UK showing short films on request.
Members of the public can call a hotline the day before the cinema arrives to arrange a free screening in venues such as a bar, hall, garden or large front room.
A two-man film team from the online film group Shooting People started promoting the UK film industry on Monday by screening seven short British films in homes and communities.
The tour will end on November 20 to coincide with the Northern Lights Film Festival, which runs at venues throughout the region from next Thursday to November 25. To book, call 0796 782 4802 or go to www.shootingpeople. org/mobilecinema
