On Sunday, Durham people will gather for remembrance services across the county.
Annfield Plain: 1.30pm, meet at disco car park followed by service at Annfield Plain Central Methodist Church at 2pm. Wreath-laying at about 2.30pm.
Blackhill: 11am, at St Mary's RC Church, Blackhill, followed by wreath-laying.
Chester-le-Street: 10.15am, meet at rear car park of Civic Centre, parade along Newcastle Road, up Front Street to St Mary's and St Cuthbert's Parish Church for service at 10.45am.
Consett: 10.30am, assemble at Parliament Street for procession to Civic Centre with wreath-laying at 11am followed by service.
Craghead: 11am, service at the cenotaph, followed by wreath-laying.
Durham: 10.15am, service at Durham Cathedral, ending with silence and wreath-laying at cathedral memorial, followed by parade of ex-servicemen from Palace Green to Market Place.
Lanchester: 10am, at The Green, followed by Ecumencial Service and wreath-laying by Lanchester ward councillors.
Leadgate: 10.45am, wreath-laying and service at the war memorial in Durham Road.
Shotley Bridge: 3pm, at war memorial.
Stanley: 9.45am, at St Andrew's Church, followed by wreath-laying.
