SIX schools in Darlington are joining together to bid for £90,000 of Lottery funding.
Longfield School and Sports College and its feeder schools - Rise Carr, Corporation Road and North Road primaries and Harrowgate Hill junior and infant - have been invited to apply for the cash from the Big Lottery Fund.
It would pay for out-of-school activities for people in the community aged up to 25.
Darlington Borough Council's cabinet is expected to back the bid at its meeting on Tuesday.
