A HUNT supporter has sent a cheeky message to the Prime Minister.

Mother-of-three Yvonne Scales has bared her behind to tell Tony Blair what she thinks of next year's ban on hunting with dogs.

She had hoped to write "Buttocks to Blair" - but ran out of space.

James Bates, spokesman for the Countryside Alliance in North Yorkshire, said he fully supported Ms Scales.

"Blair and his backbenchers have been a pain in the backside for the hunting community for too long," he said.

"They may have hit us with a ban, but we are not going to turn the other cheek - however attractive.

"The Countryside Alliance, along with our great supporters like Yvonne, will be fighting the ban using all the assets at our disposal."

Ms Scales, 40, of Northallerton, rides with the South Durham Hunt.

She said: "Hopefully, this will raise a few smiles and show people that hunt people are not stuffy.

"I feel from start to finish this ban has been based on prejudice, rather than on common sense.

"People stand to lose their homes, their jobs and their way of life, and I don't know what's going to happen to the hounds and horses.

"The police say they will enforce the ban, but there are so many better things they could be doing with their time."

She plans to repeat the stunt when hunt supporters gather to protest on February 19, the day after the ban comes into force.
